Post 1 - WHO I AM?

 

HELLO! Nice to meet you! My name is Sofia Villegas Galdames, but my nickname is Sofita, my friends tell me like that, and I think it is so cute. Well, I am 21 years old, I was born in Ñuñoa and currently I live in Puente Alto. I live with my mother and my father, and I have two big brothers, but now they don´t live with me, because they married and leaved the house of my parents.

Some of my hobbies are read some book about science fiction or read a manga. I love all the culture about Japan. Nowadays, I really like to do exercise and I am do with one of my brothers, because he lives near of me, and we are going to all days at the night.

    Hi Sofia! I’m very interest in the Japanese culture too. I read a couple of mangas some time ago, and I think is very curious the way that you have to read them, because it is right to left instead of left to right

  I always live in Santiago and firth I was born in Ñuñoa, but live in this place since six months ago, for the job of my mother. Later, we moved to Puente Alto before because my parents bought their firth house and they wanted to live in there as soon as possible. Currently I live in the same house, and I love all the moments in this place. I would like to travel another country and stay here some years. However, come back to Chile and I would live in Puerto Varas and I want to form a family.

POST 3 - MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

 I know there is many types of technology, but in this moment my favourite piece of technology is hand-held mixer which It is like a blender, but the hand-held mixer is more comfortable than the blender, because it´s smaller and light. You can use in the kitchen for a lot of things, like cook so different types of food, sweet or salty.  I usually use to prepare me milkshakes in the morning before I go to the university. Also, I use so much when I cook with my mother and I love it, for example, when we do soup, and we need grind the vegetables or we are doing sauces. It´s one of my favourite things to do with my mom, and we do it since I was a child.  Although I must admit that the life would not be so different without this hand-held mixer, because you perfectly can use the blender, but It would not be as fast and comfortable.

BLOG POST 4 - TOPIC A: FAVORITE FOOD

 I think this post is so easy to know for my friends, because all people that know me a little, know that my favorite food is the “sushi”!!! I really love that food, and it is an obsession. The origin of this food is from Japan, it´s a cylinder of rice and in the middle have different things like salmon, nori seaweed, cream cheese, green onion, avocado, chicken, shrimp, whatever you want, but the original sushi is simpler in Japan, although the adaptation from Chile is so delicious. The sushi is prepared with help of a “makisu” or mad, with that you can involve all the ingredients on the rice and form the cylinder. I love the sushi because I really like when it made with salmon or shrimp, and when one person knows prepared the rice, it is a perfect combination, and the name of this flavor is “umami”. Also, this food is healthy in the majority of cases, because you can involve all the cylinder with “panko” and fry it, therefore the oil is not the heathiest thing.
